Reflections for Sergeant Patrick Scott Johnson

Sergeant Johnson

Watching what you do on Alaska State Troopers (TV Series) is hard to sallow, this is harder, God had mercy on your soul for the work you do, and now you have gone home to the Alaska 1,000 in the sky.

“Lo, there do I see my father.
Lo, there do I see my mother,
and my sisters, and my brothers.
Lo, there do I see the line of my people,
Back to the beginning!

Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them,
In the halls of Valhalla!
Where the brave may live forever!”

My two dear brothers of the Alaska State Troopers. I just learned that you were taken home. My heart aches terribly. Scott - I had the pleasure of working with you in Fairbanks teaching the people of your great state about meth awareness. I will never forget you presenting me with an application to become an Alaskan State Trooper and you gave me one of your own AST SWAT t-shirts. I will always cherish your gifts of kindness. You belong to the ages now my dear brother - but I know you are home with Heavenly Father. I know you are in perfect care there. Go now, rest for a little while and someday you will once again stand united with your beautiful wife and three children. This I know to be true and is a promise from our Heavenly Father. Rest in peace my brother.

Scott was on my college wrestling team and was an outstanding person. He was focused and had his priorities set even at 18 years old; he knew what he wanted to do in life and was very driven. He will be missed but never forgotten.
