I feel your family was blessed to have you for so long after the events of April 19, 1991 but how cruel you couldn't enjoy your life as much as you could have due to the actions of a meaningless pile of rancid meat whose death is not mourned by decent human beings.

You showed great courage that day and for the years that followed and I respect and admire you for making the most of what you had. For your service both while on duty and while showing that, in spite of your injuries, you would not give up, you are a hero.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

It was an honor to meet Mike at the LEO Memorial in D.C. many years ago. The patch you gave me in exchange for one of my patches is still displayed with pride in my collection. You were and and always will be a HERO among heroes. Rest in peace my friend and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

May God Bless you -- you have suffered an agonizingly slow and painful death here on earth. Your death was -- painful for you and for your family, your Department and your friends.
I pray that you join my son in Heaven. Det. John J. Young, NYPD died February 19, 2007 after suffering from the effects of cancer caused by the carcinogens he ingested while working at the site of the World Trade Center.
Please say a prayer for both of these men.
