You may have only been on this earth for 38 years, but as an NYPD officer, you have seen and done more than most people ever will. Most people would run away from a burning building, but warriors run towards it to try and save lives. I am envious of your bravery. I pray for your family and co workers. I also pray for your partner. RIP warrior.

From our family to yours, we are so terribly sorry for your loss. Since our father, brother, son, uncle, and husband was killed on January 30th many things have changed. He left behind 5 children, and 9 grandchildren. Not to mention a brother and sisters as well as parents. One thing is certain, he died a hero, only think in about the possibility to help others, always willing to run toward danger as everyone else runs away from it. You have lost your hero as well, with all the same attributes as our hero. Our hearts and prayers are with you. Gone, but truly not forgotten! Heroes never die!!

My thoughts and prayers to the Guerra four children, wife, family and NYPD family. Dennis was taken way too early by an animal who had nothing better to do other than to light a mattress on fire on a floor full with innocent people. May this juvenile rot in a jail cell for the rest of his poor excuse of a life. Dennis rest easy brother and I hope your partner keeps fighting and has a speedy recovery so she can keep serving and protecting the people of New York City for years to come. Gods speed my brother and thank you for your bravery.

Although, we did not know each other, we are one. We did not share stories with each other, but I know all about you.

As I read, about the end of your time on this earth, I shed tears for you and your family. I remember and will never forget the sacrifice you made in the protection of your fellow man.

They say that only special people become cops and that once you are, you are forever. God bless you and your family. God bless all the men and women that wear the shield.

May God Bless and protect all that gave some and those that gave all. Rest in peace my brother.

When we raised our right hands and took the oath, we inherited many brothers and sisters. Although we never met, I am mourning the loss of a brother. God bless you, your family and PSA 1 during these trying times. My heart and prayers are also with your partner.

This is a sad reminder that when a police officer kisses his family good bye, and tells them he loves them before he goes to work, what the officer really means is "God willing, I hope to come home".

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the New York City Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.
