I am so very very sorry to hear of this sailors passing. The Navy and his ship will be a lessor place without him. Every now and again, we (the rest of us in society), are reminded, by the actions of individuals like MA2 Mayo, of the highest ideals of military service and what it truly means to be a human being with our obligation to others. My prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow.

My prayers are for the Mayo family in these times of tragedy. As an LE Officer, we under stand the risks involved, but day in and day out, we put our lives on the line.

We don't ask for medals, money, or rewards; we simply do it because we care and want to make a difference. MA2 Mayo made a difference. May you go easy my friend in blue, go easy!
