My heart hurts for Deputy Del Fiorentino's family and coworkers. This is a tragedy that no one should have to endure. I am grateful for the 26 years that he served his community, in a job that protects us all.

I lost my brother, Deputy Alan Inzer, who was shot and killed 1/25/07 EOW. Any loss is painful, but when a human rips away the life of another by choice, there is a layer of incomprehension there that will never go away. There are others who bear this burden with you, but it does not make it easier in the beginning. My deepest sympathy.

Rhonda
