Pawtucket is a great city, home to the Pawtucket Red Sox and blessed with a fine Police Department. Your selfless sacrifice in trying to save that child is testimony to the heroism of that department's men and women and makes you a man to be admired and respected. It's been 89 years since your death, may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother and God Bless you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace
