You sacrificed everything to make this world a safer place. I can't think of a more noble thing to do in this lifetime. We are all indebted to you for your sacrifice, your honor, your bravery, and your courage. My heart goes out to your family. I know that they too have sacrificed so much so that you could perform your duties. Words can never express the sadness of this situation. I know all too well the perils that you and your K9 Maros have faced every day of your career. I am so thankful that there are people like you who are willing to take the risk to protect others and make this world a better place. I am proud to be a part of the same agency that you worked for. You will forever be one of my heroes. I am eternally grateful to you for everything that you and your family have done for your agency and for your country. I will never forget you. Jason was my partner and best friend. We worked together all the time and spoke on the phone several times a day. His K-9 Maros was a terrific dog, very loyal and my big buddy. Please pray for his family. I will miss him terribly.
