When I found your memorial site today, it reminded me again that we are part of an international police family. It it now more than three years since your tragic loss, but today you are in my thoughts and prayers. I take this opportunity to say to John's family, friends and colleagues that, as you hold him in your hearts, we share your sense of pride and gratitude for his life and sacrifice. Today I remember my friend and coworker. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and the effect you had on my family. I still have the picture of you riding your newly purchased motorcycle up I-17 and the smile on your face as you watched me snap it... You are missed my friend... Rest in Peace John!

It has been almost two years since you left. I remember your first day when you came to the FTO squad. Fresh out of the Academy and so anxious to learn, to do, to excel and be a great Phoenix cop. You did exactly that. Your enthusiasm, strength and courage were second only to your love of the job and tat was second only to your love of your family.

Rest in peace, my friend.

41 years on the job. Had the privilage of knowing men like you.

Buried 20 in my time from my own Department. They were all special , as are you.

You saw to it that the guy who did for you will never raise his hand against another Officer. Your in good company now Son.
Your with your own kind. The Warriors. You won.

God Bless You
