A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

Although I did not know him well, SGT Baldwin was never short to share good advice, guidance, and support in our few interactions, most notably at the Firearms Range. I can only hope that I may live up to the badge and the community the way he did. RIP Sarge, we'll take it from here.
