My condolences to Deputy Johnson family, friends, and fellow colleagues . Our Heavenly Father has outlined a wonderful prospect for our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. John 5:28,29 reads "do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." I pray God's promise brings comfort to all who knew Deputy Johnson.

Bubba was one of the funniest guys to be around, his mannerisms, his figures of speech, and he had a perpetual smile. Just could not believe the news when I first heard the morning news report. I didn't want to believe it. I knew Bubba when he was a teenager working nights, at an all night garage, and wrecker service. It was a cop's hangout on midnite shift. Bubba always had a great spirit about himself, and he was the type person, that you wanted to be his friend. I am truly thankful that we were friends, and that I had the opportunity to work along side him as Sheriff's Deputies together.

Just reflecting on the "good times" of the past over the weekend. Can't have a memory of the CPD without your presence showing up. You were such an inspiration to myself and many others. I only wish that I would have known you earlier in life, so I could have had many more years with a great friend. Your family is constantly in my prayers!
