Prayers to his wife and kids and all his brothers and sisters in the deaprtment.

The righteous perishes,
And no man takes it to heart;
Merciful men are taken away,
While no one considers
That the righteous is taken away from evil.
He shall enter into peace;
They shall rest in their beds,
Each one walking in his uprightness.-Isaiah 57

I am so sorry for your loss. I've included him in my prayers every day since I heard about this. His family and friends will remain in my prayers during this most difficult time. I will shed tears for your loss, too. This will also be my first Christmas without my father, who was a retired police officer. I hope you find peace in your good memories of your husband, father, and brother in blue. There will always be an angel in heaven watching over you.

God bless you. Its a shame the only thing that happened to them is they got caught when you paid the ultimate price. There is never a good time to pay this price, but this time of year is always more difficult for the family. You are now in a position to look down on your family and protect them from above.

"Thank you" is never enough to say for doing your part in making the world a safer place. God bless you brother-in-blue.
