Ever since I received the text and phone call last night telling me of your accident and then the news today of your death, it has been heartbreaking. Your death is the fourth one for the NYSP this year in six months is beyond comprehension. I am friends with one of your Academy room mates and he tells me that what a great guy you were. I only wish i had the opportunity to know you. You, your family, and coworkers are in my thoughts and prayers.

When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May your family, friends, and coworkers take comfort in knowing that they have an angel to watch over them now. I extend my most sincere condolences to all of you.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the New York State Police. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.
