Officer Sancedo, how disgusting that three thugs should deprive you of the money you needed to visit family, and to deprive your family of you. I don't know the outcome of the one conviction, but I hope all three faced true justice for their vile acts, be it in this world, or the next. They've become a simple footnote in history. I'm so very glad you have not been forgotten and are honored here.

Railroad Police agencies seem to be slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is a travesty, but for all of those who still serve to protect one of the main things that made America what it is today, and for all who preceded them, we, as a nation, owe our thanks.

God Bless and may you forever continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

`To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Phyllis Lasater Loya
mom of fallen officer Larry Lasater
