Rest in Peace Officer Wehe. God speed, brother. Your community was fortunate to have you serve them for 18 long years.

God please bless Officer Wehe's family, friends and family in blue. To those fortunate to work with a true hero; I say I feel your pain as my department just lost our Chief in an on duty accident on 11/1/13. I know all too well there is nothing that can take away the pain and the sense of loss. The only thing that can lessen the pain is time and it seems like time moves much too slow.

I will pray that the Lord helps those that worked with and loved Officer Wehe get through this most difficult time.

Officer J. Birdsell
Gainesville Police Department
