My sincerest sympathies to the family and colleagues of Officer Libke. By all accounts he was a credit to his agency and community. It broke my heart to hear of a brother reserve officer losing his life in the line of duty. I pray God will bring peace to the loved ones and friends of this fine man whom they cherished so dearly.

My deepest condolences to the family of Officer Libke. A former Reserve Officer, I know both the excitement and danger that comes with the job. You do it because you want to give back and make a difference. You know going to work every day, that you are there to answer whatever call comes your way. Officer Libke was selfless and brave. Responding to this call, he faced the danger and ultimately, the threat was stopped. God Bless his baby and wife. Officer Libke leaves a legacy of such admirable bravery. We need more Officer Libke's in this world. Thank you for your service, sir.
