Jon, I Met you when you were fresh out of High School. you came to work at Lew Webbs Nissan. You had this outlook on life that was so fresh and friendly. Everybody said you were the nicest guy and i got believe that still held true to the day that you were taken from us. I lost track of you but thought of you often for your kind heart.
It is such a shame that good men (great men) like yourself are taken from us early. I will always remember your smile and your attitude towards life. I pray that your family is taken care of in your absence. I pray that you are resting now and watching over us with great pride like you had at your work with the Laguna Beach Police Department. God bless you buddy i hope to meet you again someday.

Jon went to school with our sons and we spent so much time with him and Tara as well. What a wonderful man! This is a huge loss for Laguna PD and the community in general. Jon was a wonderful kid, a great wrestler, a super friend, a proud soldier and a credit to his department. He will always be missed.

I remember when you first started at Laguna and told me your Army stories as I aspired to join the military. You were a great guy and I looked up to you while I worked there and after I left you still remained a good friend. I won't forget the times we shared at work and hanging out off duty. No one could ask for a better soldier or cop than you. I'm grateful that I was your friend and that I was able to learn from you wisdom and knowledge. You have changed my life and I strive each day to be more like you. I still can't believe you're gone. But you're in a better place. You'll never be forgotten brother and will be truly missed.

Although we never met your bravery is one that inspires us in our criminal justice paths. It is a selfless act to decide to wear the badge with honor as you did. You may no longer be among one of our living heroes, but you will forever be in our thoughts. You corageously did what few can do. We think of you with respect and know it takes a strong person to be in the criminal justice field. You will live forever in those who knew your story and find inspiration in all you did. May you rest in peace and thank you for your service.
