Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Sergeant Leonard Robert Luna, Jr.

My deepest sympathy to the family, friends and my fellow Officers at the Hawthorne Police Department. What a great man Sergeant Luna was. It was an honor to know him and to be in Sergeant School with him. He touched and made a positive difference in many lives. May he rest in peace.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Hawthorne Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.
