Although we never met, your bravery is one that inspires us in our criminal justice paths. It is a selfless act to decide to wear the badge with honor as you did. You may no longer be among one of our living heroes, but you will forever be in our thoughts. You courageously did what few can do. We think of you with respect and know it takes a strong person to be in the criminal justice field. You will live forever in those who knew your story and find inspiration in all you did, may you rest in peace and thank you for your service.

The Perry family has given so much to the cause of protecting and defending people. I pray this family gives no more. My deepest condolences to the entire family, both those at home and those at work and all are in my prayers. I must give a quick nod to the suspect who alerted other personnel. We all know that there are plenty who would not. This just might speak to the true character of that person.

Corporal Perry, God Bless you and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.
