A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

Cody afforded me the opportunity to train to be the first female deputy of Scott County in 2006-07. He was a good man and there's not a day that goes by that I don't thank him in my heart for the experiences I had during my brief time under his command. Thank you, Sir. You are missed.

FALLEN HEROES
From the time I was conceived God had for me a plan
He wanted me to get involved to help my fellow man
I know some were against it but God knows what is best
Now I am at home with him and have perfect peace and rest
It really is amazing when I walked through the gate
I saw the beauty of this place and I could hardly wait
To come into the presence of the Father and the Son
Hearing him say to me the priceless words WELL DONE
Heaven is so beautiful I'm walking streets of gold
Now I'm serving others including saints of old
God has given every soul a special job to do
Know this my friends and loved ones I'm watching over you
Soon we will be together never more to part
Until then just remember I'm as close as your heart
