Tim, I remember you stopping and having a glass of tea with me several times when I'd be out mowing my yard or feeding my horses on Green Sea Road north. Or how you'd sound the siren or blow the horn when you couldn't stop while heading into Conway. I did not realize you had been injured and was totally shocked to read of your passing in the article on WBTW's website. Even though my family and I moved to another state I have always looked back fondly on the times we visited and find it hard to come up with the words to speak right now. You were one of the very first to stop in and welcome me and my family to our new house in Green Sea when we moved there in early 2003 and your continued visits made us feel welcomed. The citizens of Horry are better off because of your service to them and please know that you will not be forgotten my friend. God bless you and your family.

My deepest condolences to the family, members of the department, and those served, at the loss of this officer. May faith, family, friends and time join together to ease everyone’s pain at this time of loss.

While many other career choices were certainly available, this officer chose to protect his fellow man, and for this we give everlasting thanks. As the Good Lord hath said, “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”

Thank you for your service, your convictions and moral character, as well as your devotion to duty. May you now rest in peace, knowing your fellow brothers and sisters will watch over your family and continue the Watch!

Tim, you will be greatly missed brother! I cant remember a time in the years that i knew you that you weren't holding out a hand to help someone and wanted nothing in return. You were a true example of what a husband, dad and police officer should be like. You are a true hero!!! I know God has a plan for you in heaven and i know he will look after your family. God has some of the BEST law enforcement officers in the world here looking after her too!! (HCSD) Your friend and brother in Christ...

I have laid down my life in service to all of you.
I have been a part of the fabric that has held the line between your safety and your victimization. I have given my life so that others may live in peace. I have lived my life as a dedicated member of the greatest profession. There is no greater honor.

As I now become a part of the rich history of law enforcement, please remember me always for I have left behind those who loved and depended upon me.
My partners and my agency, please remember my family, their loss, and don’t let time soften your compassion for them.

You guard the gate now and I will continue my watch from above.

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT IN THE GOOD YOU HAVE DONE HERE ON EARTH.
