A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Horry County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

Prayers are with the family. Timmy was one of the best people you would ever have the honor to meet. Always had a kind word and a smile. True to the fight when all hope was gone, he put up a fight. It was that determination that perplexed even the doctors. It was with that don't quit attitude that he served his country, community and family. "Cuz" I will never forget that smile that you always had on your face. Gone to soon but the great reunion in heaven is forever. Until we meet again know you memory is cherished.

Tim was a great guy and officer, I enjoyed the time that I worked with him in warrant div. Tim was a loving husband and great father. I wished I had spent more time with him that last night of security at the fire. He was in such a good mood, and was talking about his girls and retiring with Donna. You will be missed, brother, and I'm a better person for knowing you.

Deputy Causley died as a direct result of caring for others. I don't know him personally; most likely he was a deeply caring individual whose friends, family, and all coworkers will miss dearly. On retrospect I recall grumbling about going to the E.R. for smoke inhalation, concussions, scrapes/cuts/etc.. As I became more experienced, I understood the need for it. Don't hesitate - go immediately.
