Your work is done here on Earth - Heaven has called upon you today, leaving so many words left to say. But now it's too late, for your time has come, words unspoken; I am sure everybody has some. Regrets and wishes are probably there too, but lasting forever are memories of you.
There have been many times that we waved to each other, but we were there for each other in time of need. Now it's time for us to say Good-Bye, until we meet again in heaven to fly. Now go and Patrol the Heavens Above and Watch Below those you Love. Thank you for your service.

Psalms 147:11 "The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy."

I trust Officer Raetz feared The Lord! He is with God now, and greatly comforted by our Lord Jesus!

I am praying for his grieving family--that they take comfort that their husband, father, son, and brother, is with our loving Savior-The Lord Jesus Christ. May they take great comfort that they will be re-united, one day, in great happiness, with their loved one-Officer Raetz, and be together forever! (Evidence of being gathered to one's loved one: Ge.49:29,33. Other scriptures also verify this.)

I feel deeply for this man's family and fellow officers. On the morning of March 19th, exactly two months ago, my father was hit by a car while directing school traffic and died of his injuries. I know the pain this family must be feeling. It is a pain that is deep and constant and lives you feeling lost, lonely and scared. And Mad. So very mad.

This breaks my heart. I hate to think it was -another drunk driver- that did this, too. Sad, sad tragedy, no matter what the circumstance.
Being raised by a police officer, and working along side our local PD for the last 5 years, I love and care for these guys and gals that put themselves out there in harms way...to protect US ALL from this type of tragedy ourselves.
I can't imagine what his family is going through...my thoughts and prayers to his family, coworkers, fellow vets, and friends. So sorry for your loss.
