John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Proud to ride for Larry in this year's Road to Hope Law Enforcement United ride from Chesapeake, Va to DC. I pray for the family and for the department. I proudly wear his bracelet and carry his flag. Would love the chance to meet the family if you are in DC for police week and give you his bracelet after the ride. God speed and God bless you!

My deepest condolences to the family, members of the Task Force, and those served, at the loss of this leader. May faith, family, friends and time join together to ease everyone’s pain at this time of loss.

While many other career choices were certainly available, this officer chose to protect his fellow man, and for this we give everlasting thanks. As the Good Lord hath said, “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”

Thank you for your service, your convictions and moral character, as well as your devotion to duty. May you now rest in peace, knowing your fellow brothers and sisters will watch over your family and continue the Watch!

There no greater comfort than the ones that are found in the bible. Sometimes when we dont have the words to say God has them for us. Please find comfort from the scriptures found at Psalms 55:22, Psalms 24:18, and 1 Peter 5:7. I send my love and condolences to all the people affected by this death.

To the family and friends of Director Larry Johnson and his fellow officers:

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Larry died.

To Director Johnson's family, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Director Johnson gave to his community and the citizens of Arkansas, and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on March 26, 2013.

Director Johnson,

Rest well in the arms of God.

To Your Family,

Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.

Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray, “Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”

I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for 2 years. Feel those prayers. God is with you, He knows and will ease your pain.

Though I never knew him, he was part of my Law Enforcement family and I will mourn this deep loss the rest of my life. My heart aches with all the losses we have suffered, and continue to suffer, through the years. God is our only peace through such times. May family & friends feel the presence of the "God of All Comfort" as they endure the distressing days ahead. I join them in their agonizing grief & remember them in my prayers.
