Chip, It took some time but after the investigation, we were able to show what we all knew from the start. That you responded as a LEO and a hero. I remember seeing this start to come out on the news then receiving a text from my LT telling me it was you. Then getting the phone call and being asked to respond to the command post. It was a rough week, but also an honor to be there. I didn't know you but know many of your coworkers and feel like I knew you now that I have heard so much about you. Thank you for your service. You saved more lives than we will ever know. Please know that you, your family, and coworkers are in my thoughts. Genesee Valley C.O.P.S. will always be here for your family including your family in blue.

A true hero, who served the community a lot. Being shot while helping others is the most coward thing I can imagine. Rest in peace and the best wishes to your friends, family and the Webster Police Department and the fire department where he served.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Webster Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.
