Reflections for Police Officer Michael Daniel Crain

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

A brother law enforcement officer

On behalf of the men and women of the Los Angeles Police Department, we send our heart felt condolences to the family, Co-workers, and friends of Officer Crain. It saddens me to know that a person we once trusted with our lives is now taking lives of our fellow brothers and sisters in blue. I pray that we find him and give him what he deserves. He is a coward and deserves no pity.

May God give you all the strength to get through this horrible time.

LAPD

May God grant your family and friends the strength to get through these difficult times. Heroes will never be forgotten, even though we lose a brother on the streets heaven gets another to walk its streets

Verse of the Marine Corps Hymn:
"Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve;
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve.
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines."

Officer Michael Crain, I pray that you rest in peace. Thank you for your service to your country and community.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray:
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Officer G. M. Villanueva
