FOR A WIFE WHO HAS LOST HER HUSBAND,
WE ASK GOD TO FILL THE SPACES LEFT BEHIND.
FOR PARENTS WHO HAVE A LOST A SON.
MAY GOD SUSTAIN YOU, AND HOLD YOU IN HIS ARMS.
FOR SIBLINGS WHO HAVE LOST A SIBLING.
MAY GOD REMIND YOU OF THE GOOD TIMES.

WE CAN’T SAY THANKYOU ENOUGH.

FOR OFFICERS' WHO HAVE LOST A DEAR FRIEND.
MAY GOD HELP YOU PICK UP THE PIECES.
FOR CHIlDREN WHO HAVE LOST THEIR HERO.
MAY GOD RESTORE BEAUTY TO YOUR HOME,
WITHOUT REPLACING HIS MEMORY.

WE CAN’T SAY THANKYOU ENOUGH.

THE BROTHERS, THE SISTERS, THE PARENTS, THE CHILDREN, THE FRIENDS.
WE HONOR THE FALLEN, AND PRAY FOR THE LIVING.
IN YOUR PAIN, AND IN YOUR SADNESS,
AND YOUR TEAR FILLED NIGHTS.
GOD PROMISES A DAY WITH NO MORE PAIN,
NO MORE SADNESS AND NO MORE TEARS.
IT’S A DAY WITHOUT MOURNING.
A DAY WHEN THE RADIANCE OF HIS SON SHINES BRIGHTER,
THAN ANY PAIN WE HAVE EXPERIENCED AND UNTIL THAT DAY WE GATHER TOGETHER.
“OFFICER”, WE SAY THANKYOU,
BECAUSE WE CAN NEVER SAY THESE WORDS ENOUGH.

REST IN PEACE BROTHER, OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE TONN FAMILY AND GALT PD. WE KNEW IT WAS TO GOOD TO GO 2 WEEKS INTO THE NEW YEAR WITHOUT LOOSING AN OFFICER, AND IT WOULD INEVITABLY END. I WENT THROUGH IT WHEN MY SON WAS SHOT AND KILLED ON DUTY ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO, AND IT HASN'T GOTTEN ANY EASIER. GOD BLESS.

STEP FORWARD NOW WARRIOR, YOU'VE BORN YOUR BURDEN WELL
WALK PEACEFULLY ON HEAVENS STREETS, YOU'VE DONE YOUR TIME IN HELL.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Prince Galt Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

As a 19 year veteran officer I mourn for the loss of someone so eager to serve their community and agency. It's a hard job at times and a rewarding job at times. May God bless Ofc. Tonn, his family, and his agency. Know this, others will serve, but none so proudly or valiantly as the one who lays down his life for the service of others.
