Nothing can prepare you for the loss of a friend, coworker or spouse. It is a tragic experience for all who knew the person...today, the world lost an amazing man, officer, husband, father, and friend. Chris, your smile was infectious. You will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you, no one more than your wife and children. Rest in peace. Semper Fi.

Chris, I still can't believe you are no longer with us. I just saw your picture on the news and you were smiling as always. This is so difficult to type. I remember your first day at work in D-East roll call. I'm sure you remember the first day also because they are memorable. Your locker was close to mine and we shared laughs before roll call and at the end of our shift. We all shared so many good times together at work and on our off time. We will never forget your laugh and especially your kidness. I don't believe anyone could say anything bad about you, exept of course the people who you arrested. We sure missed you when you left the squad to go to the Motors Unit. We gave you a hard time when you left, but we knew how much you loved to ride motorcycles. You were the first Ofc Yung and you brought us many more. You proudly served your country as a Marine and your community as a Police Officer. We all go to work everyday knowing that we aren't promised tomorrow. We do it because we are programmed differently than "normal people". You died doing what you loved to do, riding and serving the community. I drive over 1 hour to work just to work with people like you. You will be enshrined in our hearts forever and you will NEVER be forgotten!

Robin, Dale, Nancy, and family: There are no words to describe what you and your family are experiencing right now. We will always be here for you all. Chris is a brother to ALL of us.
