I have served the City of San Diego for over 25 years. We never know when our time will come. I buried my best friend and partner in 2003. You have given so much and I still cry each time I hear of an officer not making it home. God will take care of you now. RIP know you will never be forgotten. Thank you SO much for your service and what you have given. The world is a better place because you were in it. You have touch people such as my wife and I and had no idea you did. Thank you.

Only the lone officer knows the dread of approaching a madman during a routine stop. Police officers are often like the lonely soldier in a strange land; right here in America.
