I had the pleasure and honor of being one of Sean's instructors in the academy. Sean was a model recruit that absorbed everything you said. As a trainer, I feel a small piece of me was with Sean everyday he put on that uniform. He performed like a true warrior and fought to the end. Rest in Peace, and please watch over us.

May God bless you Officer Callahan and watch over your friends and family.

For those who may not know, Officer Callahan wanted to be an officer since his high school days. He paid his own way through the police academy to reach that goal with no promise of future police employment. He lived in North Metro Atlanta and drove an hour each way in order to get to his department on the south side.

The dedication shown to the citizens which he served is an example to all of us.

Thank you for your dedication and committment Officer Callahan
