Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Christopher Richard Parsons

For Deputy Sheriff Christopher R. Parsons:

The law-officer on patrol is confronted with multi-situations that present high-risk and among thems is response to a situation that is unknown until actually arriving on the scene. Many times as the situation unfolds a coward appears and simply takes the advantage of killing the first law-officer on the scene by ambush. A truly despicable action, that is far too-often repeated. We regret that Chris would be the next law-officer to face such an almost impossible situation whereby one can hardly defend himself while assisting another in need.
We pray for Chis' family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Deputy Christoper Parsons, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Pennsylvania State Police

Christopher, we honor your service to your community as a law enforcement officer and you will always be remembered and revered. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of our entire family, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Christopher was killed in the line of duty. May his loved ones continue to be supported by their law enforcement family and other police survivors. Our family grieves with you and for you. To his family, you are in my heart's embrace today. I pray for the emotional healing for all who called Christopher beloved.

I was so saddened to learn of the loss of this young officer just starting his law enforcement career and know what a devastating blow his loss is to his family and his agency.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Deputy Parsons gave to his community and the citizens of Missouri, and the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on December 15, 2012.
