My condolences go out to Officer Decker's family, friends and co-workers. Officer Decker took an oath to service and protect his community which in turn took his life. Officer Decker gave the ulimate sacrifice to uphold the oath he swore too.
For the family and friends of Officer Decker, there is now a void that Decker use to fill, remember the good times with Decker and that he passed away doing something he loved to do. As an LEO myself, most people don't understand why we chose this career, the long hours, the risks, the stress it puts on family members etc.. It takes a certain "drive" in a person to do it day in and day out without hesitation, and I honor every person that makes the commitment.
Officer Decker will never be forgotten, someday we will meet in heaven.

Customs and Border Protection (CBPO)

I keep thinking of the pain your children must be feeling and will feel in the years to come. I hope they find peace soon. I pray to our lord and savior that he will touch them and remove some of the pain that they and the entire family is enduring and will endure. God Bless the peacemakers. I hope the coward that did this never sees the light of day.
