Brother, I can’t believe you’re gone! When I think back to our academy days, I remember the countless conversations we had about our similar experiences as Deputy Sheriff’s. You and I shared many of the same thoughts and reasons for becoming an Illinois State Trooper. On graduation day, I remember standing side-by-side in front of the mirror ensuring our uniforms were squared away. I still remember the excitement on your face as we prepared to board the ISP bus one last time. Brother, I will never forget you! I am truly honored to have known you and extremely proud to call you my friend. May god watch over you, your family and our fellow brothers in arms.
