Reflections for Game Warden Guy M. Bradley

While your killers never faced justice here on earth they surely faced a higher justice at a later time. Thank you for your service and please know that no passage of time will ever erase you sacrifice. Rest in peace always.

Game Warden Bradley - I just learned about your today, July 12, 2019 while researching Florida panthers. You were so brave in trying to save the plumed birds of Florida. Sometimes we see egrets in my home state of Nebraska. So sorry you had to lose your life so young, but your bravery lives on.

I was recently in the Florida Everglades and found quite by accident the monument commemorating Guy Bradley/ Although a Conservation Officer myself for 30 years I can hardley imagine how difficult was the job of Guy Bradley . His dedication and sacrifice is an inspiration fpr all law enforcemnet officers but especially to those who work to protect out fish and wildlife.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 108th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I am reading a book about Theodore Roosevelt's efforts on behalf of conservation and animal protection and just finished a section on your efforts. You, Warden Bradley were apparently quite a guy and made every effort to protect the birds of Florida. You are truly a hero especially while doing something that was far from appreciated by the average citizen at the time.

Your efforts were NOT in vain even though the lowlifes who murdered you to get some feathers were found not guilty, a true travesty of justice.

God Bless and may you forever Rest In Peace, Brother.

Uncle Guy,
I remember as a small child, my Great Grandfather telling us about how he remembered the day that they brought your body back out of the Glades after you were murdered. I feel honored to be a descendant of yours and then to follow in your footsteps and have a career in Law Enforcement. Your memory will definately live on in the lives of those who loved you and your descendants. My Grandfather was the first male child born after your death and his parents named him Guy in honor of you. After which my father was also named Guy and so is my brother, all because of your dedication and heroism in your duty to your fellow man and the State of Florida. Rest in peace uncle..know that your shift is being covered by others now.
