On this 96th anniversary of your murder, we honor you on this wonderful website as no doubt your agency does in other ways.

Railroad Police agencies seem to be slowly becoming a thing of the past, which is a travesty. For all of those who still serve to protect one of the main things that made America what it is today, and for all who preceded them, we, as a nation, owe our thanks.

God Bless you Agent Kieper and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. I am privileged to be among the first to post a reflection for you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 93rd anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
