Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Border Patrol Agent Nicholas J. Ivie

My husband is an agent and everyday i worry that something may happen to him in the line of duty. I can not fathom what the Ivie family must be suffering at this time. My heart goes out to his loved ones and may the good Lord comfort them in their time of need.

On 10/2/12, a significant portion of law enforcement died near Bisbee, Arizona. I didn't know Agent IVY; however, I knew many like him. Undoubtedly a steadfast family man, GOD fearing, who believed in his co workers and his assigned mission.

We pray for him and his family. Eternal peace be with him.

Praying that you'll sense God’s presence
In this time of grief
And feel God’s love surrounding you
And know His inner peace
For God cares so much for you
And wipes each tear you cry
You never need to feel alone
For He’ll never leave your side
