Officer Younstrom, no words can ever express the gratitude I carry in my heart for your dedication to making the people of California and Contra Costa County safe. You made the ultimate sacrafice and I will forever remember you. Knowing that you donated your organs so that 8 others can carry on with their lives is yet another gift that shall never be forgotten. I will pray today, tomorrow and everyday that your wife and your children will carry you in their hearts forever- proud of the husband that you were and proud of the amazing father that blessed them for far too short a time. My heart is filled with great sadness at the lost of your loved one and fellow Officer.
We in the law enforcement communtiy are a family.
