Reflections for Corporal Marshall Lee Bailey

God bless, and God's speed.
Rest in peace brother.

Sergeant Paul Schanno

For Corporal Marshall Bailey:

Our duty as patrol officers on the highway is often a tedious and boring job, however the tide changes almost instantly, especially when we effect and arrest. We are thankful for the immediate response of other law-officers who made it to the scene to permit the perp to elect a final dispostion in this case. We regret that our brother Marshall would become the next law-officer statistic in a deadly enounter.

We pray for Marshall's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

We are proud to render Corporal Marshall Bailey, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennsylvania State Police

Marshall it has been an honor and privilege to call you my friend. We shared many happy times together in our line of work. I can close my eyes and still hear some of your hilarious stories, you were one of a kind. The last Trooper we lost here was very much like yourself, one of a kind. His daughter was one of my best friends and introduced Steve and I. We, as well as the county, are heartbroken. May you rest in peace in the loving arms of The Lord my friend and may God bless and comfort your family.

Trooper Bailey, God Bless you and your family. You were a good friend, Father and Law Enforcement Officer. You will be truly missed by all who knew you. Your bravery and commitment to your job can only be measured by the love for WV that you showed and giving of your soul to us. You will always be in our hearts and everytime we see a blue and gold State Police car pass, we will only hope that fellow officers remember what you and partner went through and be careful about who they deal with. You are now where you need not worry about Crime or Death. WV will miss you! GOD SPEED to you my friend. DOTS forever!!!!R.I.P
