I have laid down my life in service to all of you.
I have been a part of the fabric that has held the line between your safety and your victimization.
As I now become a part of the rich history of law enforcement, please remember me always for I have left behind those who loved and depended upon me.
I have given my life so that others may live in peace.
My partners and my agency, please remember my family, their loss, and don’t let time soften your compassion for them.
You guard the gate now and I will continue my watch from above.

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT IN THE GOOD YOU HAVE DONE HERE ON EARTH.

FOR A WIFE WHO HAS LOST HER HUSBAND,
WE ASK GOD TO FILL THE SPACES LEFT BEHIND.
FOR PARENTS WHO HAVE A LOST A SON.
MAY GOD SUSTAIN YOU, AND HOLD YOU IN HIS ARMS.
FOR SIBLINGS WHO HAVE LOST A SIBLING.
MAY GOD REMIND YOU OF THE GOOD TIMES.

WE CAN’T SAY THANKYOU ENOUGH.

FOR OFFICERS' WHO HAVE LOST A DEAR FRIEND.
MAY GOD HELP YOU PICK UP THE PIECES.
FOR CHIDREN WHO HAVE LOST THEIR HERO.
MAY GOD RESTORE BEAUTY TO YOUR HOME,
WITHOUT REPLACING HIS MEMORY.

WE CAN’T SAY THANKYOU ENOUGH.

THE BROTHERS, THE SISTERS, THE PARENTS, THE CHILDREN, THE FRIENDS.
WE HONOR THE FALLEN, AND PRAY FOR THE LIVING.
IN YOUR PAIN, AND IN YOUR SADNESS,
AND YOUR TEAR FILLED NIGHTS.
GOD PROMISES A DAY WITH NO MORE PAIN,
NO MORE SADNESS AND NO MORE TEARS.
IT’S A DAY WITHOUT MOURNING.
A DAY WHEN THE RADIANCE OF HIS SON SHINES BRIGHTER,
THAN ANY PAIN WE HAVE EXPERIENCED AND UNTIL THAT DAY WE GATHER TOGETHER.
“OFFICER”, WE SAY THANKYOU,
BECAUSE WE CAN NEVER SAY THESE WORDS ENOUGH.

Rest in Peace Brother.....as a Prince Georges County Police Dispatcher I hear hundreds of officers go 10-7 after a hard day of work but I find comfort in knowing that tomorrow I'll talk to them again or run 10-29 for you the next day at some point. But to hear that one of my fellow co-workers has gone 10-7 forever and wont see his or her family or loved ones anymore......just saddens me.....to know that you are with the Lord and Saint Michael in heaven relieves some of the pain. As a Volunteer Fire Captain I understand fully the magnitude of your service and dedication....Thank You!!!!!!!!
