Police officer for 19 years, ends up getting shot off duty. Sad and ironic, I wish the best for his family, friends, and department.

For Officer Moses Walker, Jr.:

The law-officer is susceptible to the same perils as anyone in the streets and sometimes fate dictates that no matter the state of alertness and readiness we can become victims of crimes resulting in death. We regret that Moses would be the latest law-officer to lose his life in this manner.
We pray for Moses family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the time in this time of need,
We are proud to render Officer Moses Walker, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Such a sad situation and although I didn't know Officer Moses Walker Jr personally I feel the sadness as if I knew him for years. May he rest in peace and GOD bless his mother and family.

It is an absolute tragedy that this officer was a victim of one of the same crimes which he spent 19 years preventing and protecting people from. At least he went down fighting. If there is any justice, the cowards who killed him will spend the rest of their lives in a concrete box, with nothing but the guilt of knowing they murdered a hero in cold blood.

May Officer Walker be honored for his heroic and selfless service, and his memory cherished forever. Rest in peace.

That is so sad, but it seems to happen a lot around the world. The Argentine Police sent a very good comment. I translated it on Bing. I will pray for his siblings.

I never met Officer Moses Walker Jr., but as a fellow police officer I offer my condolences to the family, and respects for his service to his department and citizens of Philadelphia. Service which often goes without notice, and under appreciated in most large cities. I hope his family can find peace and support when dealing with this terrible loss. We will never forget.

New Heavenly Place

Who can comfort us
When our loved-one passes away?
Our mourning continues in spite of
all the kind words people may say…

God hears and understands
when we weep and mourn,
But did you know
Death doesn’t exist
when we are reborn?

It doesn’t exist
because we live
under His grace,
His sheep lives
with Him (forever)
In their
New Heavenly Place!.....
May You Hold On To The Promises Of God .....
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (NLT)
