The so called "Sovereign Citizens" are some of the lowest of the low and have little worth as human beings in my humble opinion. Deputy Triche, you did not deserve this nor did Deputy Nielsen. I'm very grateful that the other members of your department involved in this incident have survived.

For all your service to the State of Louisiana and St. John the Baptist Parish, and the United States as a whole, I thank you.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

Rest in peace brother, you have served well. Yep, someone killed a policeman today, and a part of America died. God bless the family, friends, and co-workers of Deputy Triche in this time of tragic loss. Folks, this is only going to get worse with these types of lunatics as the moral decay of America increases. We have to watch out for each other because sadly, the citizenry is doing so less and less. Please, be safe out there.

Seminole County (OK) Sheriff's Dept

I'm very sorry brother. I will pray for your family in this trying time. I know at some point in time your wife and son may read this. To your son I would like to say, your father was a hero. More of a hero than any man you will ever know. I know your time togather was short, but a dad will never love anyone like they will their child. Always know that. Mrs. Triche, I am sorry for you lose. God Bless you. You are in our prayers.
