I'm not a police officer. I'm a Polish living in London. I truly admire and apreciate a hard work that the Police does for everyone and just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to your fallen officer and his family. Regards. Przemek.

I am an Officer in the United Kingdom. It really makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when i hear that a Police Officer, in any country, has been killed in the line of duty.
I did not know Deputy Mitchell but everyone should be proud of the commitment and the ultimate sacrifice he has given for the people he served. Rest In Peace Deputy Sheriff Josh Mitchell.

Rest in Peace Josh. Thank you for your service to the citizens of Reagan County. My condolences go out to the Mitchell Family and all the first responders involved in the incident. Any line of duty death is tragic, but when it happens in a small community such as Big Lake, it is very devastating. Josh gave the ultimate sacrifice to help his fellow man. He will forever be a hero to us all. It has been a rough year for West Texas law enforcement. Keep God in your heart and take care of your brothers and sisters in blue. We may all wear different badges, but we are all of the same blood. Stay safe and God bless.
