To Officer Hollis's family I send my heart felt condolences and prayers.
To the Denver Police Dept. keep your heads up I praying for you also.
I know your pain for I was recently Involved in a shoot out and lost my partner (EOW 5-1-12). As it say's in Philippians 4:6-7
6: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, without thanksgiving, present you requests to God.
7: And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will GAURD your HEARTS and your MINDS in Christ Jesus.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Officer Hollis, but from all that I have read and seen about her, she appeared to be a class act both on and off duty. What a beautiful woman, mother, and officer. I hope and pray for the family and little girl she leaves behind.
