My prayers and thoughts are with the family and department of Officer Hollis. She is watching over us with God now. Officer Hollis has a wonderful smile that must have lit up the room. She is now lighting the world with it.

You have created a void, an unbearable chasm. In less than seven years you have made an everlasting impression on all of us at Denver PD, and so your brothers and sisters here hurt and grieve! Why you, Celena? Why now? Please help us get back up and carry on. Help us to serve by your example, with courage and compassion on the streets, and love at home. You are missed, you will not be forgotten.

Another tragic loss in Law Enforcement around the world. Me and my family have prayers for your and your family, friends, and department. Rest in Peace Officer Hollis.......i know you stood tall and proud of your accomplishments and your family and friends are proud of everything you did for them and your community. The rest of us will continue to fight the battle on the streets day in and day out looking for new ways to remove the senseless people who have no regard to human life.

Celena was not only my niece but a very good (best) friend. We played together as kids and as adults. My heart is so heavy now and I do not know how I am going to deal with this....But my love for you will never ever go away. May you Rest In Paradise niece. I Love You So Much and will Miss you dearly.

I met Officer Hollis while attending K9 training at the sub-station. She was a very nice lady (and as everyone has said, had a great smile), she helped us all out making sure our needs were met for training. I feel for her family, and her daughter. As a mother of six and working in law enforcement, I can only imagine the pain her family and department are feeling. RIP and god bless you.

Although I did not know her personally, my heart is HEAVY! For some PUNK to do such a cowardly move and to take a precious life is devastating! Although God has the last say, it just makes me sick to my stomach that people still carry guns and shoot without any proper training and just for the heck of it. If you can’t fight....so be it. Take a butt whooping and live to do it again if need be. Too many INNOCENT people are getting caught in the crossfire of punks that are obviously AFRAID. If you’re scared go to church change your lifestyle. May this officer Rest in Paradise.

Celena always had a huge smile on her face. We were at her home for a bbq and whipped butt playing Taboo :) I send my condolences, my sympathy, my prayers to her little girl, her comrades, her friends and family. She will be missed. She was and always will be loved, and respected by all who knew her. Her Legacy will be carried on. RIP, Dear Lady.
