I wish I could have met my great grandfather. His memory is kept alive in our family and our hearts. My grandfather is now in heaven with him and they are reunited. My grandfather carried around my great grandfather's comb in his wallet so he could feel close to him. They are up in heaven watching over our family and I am grateful to have them in my family

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. I am privileged to be among the first to pay tribute to you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 71rst anniversary year of your death.

Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
