Brother Coen,

One year ago to the day, we graduated the academy together! We had good times getting to know each other, and experiencing a life time achievement that some can only dream of! I will not talk as if you are gone, however I will speak as if you are my partner sitting next to me on my beat! Sir you are a great friend, husband, father, chaplain, and Officer! As other classmates have stated and I agree 100% that you have a positive impact on everyone you come in contact with, and yes even those you have arrested. I am sure they too have found the kindness that you bring! Officer Coen you have truely served the people of Hominy, Ok, Harper County, and Laverne with all your heart and soul. Me and Fellow officers and I will tell your stories and remember you forever. Sir as your go 10-8 in heaven with our Father Lord, we will take over the watch from here brother! You will be missed until we meet again! Goodspeed brother!

I graduated from the academy with Charlie 1 year ago to the day from his passing. He was one of the most uplifting and positive people I've ever known. He was kind, loving man whose dedication to his community was surpassed only by his love for his family and his lord. He served the citizens of Laverne as a full time officer, Harper county as a reserve patrol deputy and several other agencies as a Chaplin. Charlie was an ordained pastor who choose to serve these communities as both a peace officer and pastor. His impact on my life and countless others along with his sacrifice will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Charlie, you've done well and set the bar high for those of us who choose to follow your example.
