To Officer Ambroses' Family:
There are no words to express the sadness of this tragedy, I sit here in tears. I didn't know him but I respect all Officers who put their lives on the line day in and day out, especially for all those years he put in serving us.
May you stick together as a family and lean on each other as everyone grieves in their own way. I am so very, very sorry for your loss.

To Officer Ambrose:
This is too sad that you had to leave in this senseless way.
May you punch a hole thru this world to let your family know that you are ok and in peace. My husband did that for me I believe, and you can do it too. Thank you for all of your years putting others before yourself.
I salute you with tears, Sir. GodSpeed...

Kevin joined the force in 1976 with my now deceased (Heart Bill) husband. He was a laid back guy and liked by all. Kevin was murdered by a NY Corrections Ofifcer. We are still in shock. Yes, Kevin is a HERO but today he was also a VICTIM.

This is another painful reminder that there is no such thing as a "routine call" that brave officers go on each & every day; understaffed & in the midst of layoffs and budget cuts.
Officer Ambrose , A true hero in every since of the word. Rest easy now brother. You were a long a hero long before this tragic day.

You've borne your burdens well.

You've done your time in hell."
