The sacrifice by Patrolman Walter P.Boyle will always be remembered by the Toledo Police Department. Four Boyle brothers served on that police agency. A nephew serves with LAPD. Having had a brother and a nephew ( both now deceased) who served and another nephew still serving on TPD, I fully understand the blood brotherhood and the blue blood connection all police officers have with each other in protecting their communities from the lawless. Rest In Peace Officer Boyle in the arms of Our Lord.
