Thank you for serving and protecting. To the Maples family take peace in the fact that 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year Justin made the country a safer place to live and travel in just because he existed. His physical body may have perished in the service of his people but the spirit that drove him to wear a badge and be called a Peace officer will live forever.

We did not know your husband, but this Friday my brother Probation Officer Jeff McCoy was also killed in the line of duty. We send our condolences and love to this family. Until you lose an officer you never understand the full magnitude. I pray you have the support we have been shown. May God carry this family until they can walk alone. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers as well.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of this great man! Know there are people out there who care, and find peace that you had the time you had with him.
