as i walk through the darkness
nothing could be seen.
alone and deserted afraid of my dreams
i try to grab hold
i feel as though i am falling
in the pitiful darkness
no tears can i weep
as i fall further
something grips my hand
strength, honor, courage and love
flows through my body
i look up but see nothing
darkness still thick
the grip now seems stronger
pulling me forward
i now see the light
what ever it is, is strong and will not let me fall
my heart grows soft and blankly understands i am not alone
it now holds me tightly
helping me to stand
the light is getting brighter
i almost see a figure
tall and brave the figure stands
i can now see
we walk into the light
i look over to see who helped me find my way
and behold
there is an angel staring back at me...
