On behalf of the Texas Game Wardens in Region 1-District 3 (El Paso-West Texas Area), I want to send our deepest condolences to the Arana family and the officers and staff of the Texas Department of Public Safety. Texas State Troopers and Texas State Game Wardens have always worked closely together in the State of Texas. The loss of a Trooper is a loss for the entire Texas State Peace Officer family. I was fortunate to have met Trooper Arana on a traffic stop on Montana Avenue several weeks ago. I was very impressed with his professionalism and willingness to stop and check on a fellow officer. Thank you for your service to our state Trooper Arana. Rest in peace knowing your family will be comforted and supported by your extended Trooper family.
